
The name of the African-American holiday, Kwanzaa means “first fruits” to reflect the importance of harvest for many African celebrations. Learn the symbols and principles of this seven-day festival and participate in traditional African crafts and folktales on Saturday, December 29, 2012 at the Chesapeake Children’s Museum located at 25 Silopanna Road in Annapolis.
