If I received a dime every time I heard “Yo son, I can rhyme, I can sing, or I got beats,” I would be a very rich man. Nowadays EVERYONE wants to be in the recording business— either as a label, a promoter or a performer. There is nothing wrong with wanting to be in the business or chasing your dreams. However, the issue about the music business is twofold: Do you really LOVE what you do and do you understand your craft? “Winslow Dynasty,” is one group that surely knows what it means to be in this business!

Where is that Soul Music? You know the kind of music that you feel in your heart; the kind of music that takes you to a place that you can’t explain; and where the lyrics MEAN something! That’s what’s’ missing from today’s music— that feeling. The feeling that comes over you when you hear a song and you just lose your mind. No matter where you are at the time you just want to scream:  “That’s my jam!” Indie Soul has found the  artist who is bringing back that true SOUL MUSIC!

Just a quick drive around town you will find boutiques that offer anything from women’s fashion to hats and accessories. There are even thrift stores that are more fashionable than ever before.

When I think New York City, I think of a city of big dreams; the home of Hip-Hop, Time Square, MTV, The Yankees and Frank Sinatra. When I think Baltimore, I think Carl Ripken, The Ravens, the Inner Harbor, Dru Hill and now— Indie Artist JSoul aka “Black Sinatra!”
