The February and June classes of 1962 of Frederick Douglass High School held their 51st year reunion on April 27, 2013 at Forest Park Clubhouse located at 2900 Hillsdale Road in Baltimore.

Over 100 alumni attended the semi-formal affair. The buffet style event started with hors d’oeuvres and was followed by a delectable dinner. The DJ kept the guests dancing to the music of both yesterday and today. During a brief program the deceased members of the classes were also remembered.

Earlier in the month the Planning Committee was delighted to present a check in the amount of $1,000 to Principal Dr. Antonio Hurt. The donation was given to the new mock courtroom to help equip the center’s library with books and other materials to enrich the experiences of the students of Frederick Douglass High School.
