The year 2014 marks the 150th anniversary of Maryland Emancipation, and the 50th anniversary of the Civil Rights Act. These milestones underscore our MLK Birthday Weekend Celebration. With a theme of service, the museum commemorates Dr. King with music, performances, lectures, and more January 18-20. The programming targets a broad range of audiences: educators, teens, families, and the corporate community.
