Calendar of Events to celebrate spring in the Baltimore Area for the next two weeks
Kojo Roney, 13-year-old prodigy jazz drummer and the nephew of renowned saxophonist Wallace Roney will perform with his uncle at Caton Castle on Saturday, April 22, 6-10 p.m. Kojo Odu Roney has been playing since he was a toddler. Ethel Ennis, will be honored by the Sisters Academy of Baltimore at a formal event called “Jazzin’ It Up at the Park” on Saturday, April 22 at the Montgomery Park, 1880 Washington Boulevard from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. Enjoy a festive evening with a culinary tour of America’s great jazz music, gambling room, dancing and live entertainment dating back to the 1920’s.
