Hopefully you’ve been enjoying a safe and healthy week so far and most I hope you are all wearing your mask and getting your vaccine shots for COVID-19. Don’t be a fool— this disease really doesn’t care if you are Black, White, blue or green; if you are Jewish, Italian, Muslim or any other faith or nationality— it will kill you!

Labor Day weekend will be awesome! First, let me tell you, my Boo-Boo and I will be on vacation for a couple of weeks, leaving right after my show at the Avenue Bakery. But I’m letting you know some fun things that you can do.
Okay, as you know, every Thursday at “Not Just Crab,” at 8731 Liberty Road in Randallstown, Maryland, D J Mike Jones is playing from 6-10 p.m. and he is at City View, 6700 Security Blvd every first Wednesday of the month.

Dance Baltimore’s 3rd Dance Day is having a fundraiser to support the Lori S. Goodman Scholarship Fund and the Dancers Emergency Fund on Sunday, September 12 for 1-5 p.m. at 7097 Milford Industrial Road in Pikesville, Maryland. The event includes all types of dancing, such as stretch; hip hop; liturgical; yoga; house; heels tap; belly-dance; and much more. For more information, go to dancebaltimore.org.
A “Black & White Virgo Party” will be held on Friday, September 10, 2021, starting at 7 p.m. to celebrate Carlos Hutchins, Kevin and Shonda’s Birthday at “Not Just Crab” located 8731 Liberty Road in Randallstown, Md. The Rollex Band will headline the event.

The 24th Annual Memorial Alonzo’s Picnic takes place on Sunday, September 5, 2021 from noon to 8 p.m. at the Rosedale American Legion located at 1331 Seling Avenue. Now folks, this is a real outdoor picnic party, so bring your coolers, picnic baskets, tents, BYOB, folding chairs and enjoy the live Blues entertainment on stage presented by Baltimore’s own Ursula Ricks, Charlie Owen & Picket Change, plus the No Money Down Horns; Christopher James Band, and Blues Reincarnation Project.

Now if you just want to go to a place to do a little marketing for fresh vegetables, then check out the “Weekly Farmer’s Market at the Hilton Garden Inn Owings Mills in Owings Mills, Md. It’s open to the public every Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Randallstown’s Annual Farmer’s Market is still open every Wednesday, 1-5 p.m. in the Randallstown Plaza Shopping Center (corner of Liberty & Offutt Roads). You can support the local farmers and get fresh vegetables and fruits at the same time. It is open to the public. Say hello to Tanya Dennis, she will be there selling her “Bling Tees” Tee Shirts.
