Baseball, Softball, And Wrestling To Hold Alumni Engagement Events

BLOOMSBURG, Pa. – The Bloomsburg University baseball, softball, and wrestling programs will be holding several alumni engagement activities during the month of January.

The first event of January will be the baseball team’s 5^th Annual Professional Engagement Night on January 4^th. The softball team will hold a Virtual Networking Night on January 26^th, and the wrestling program will have its Alumni Night on January 28^th.

Each event will give players the opportunity to connect with Bloomsburg alumni in different ways, and each alumni engagement activity will give current players a chance to meet former players. More information about each event can be found below.

Baseball – The Fifth Annual Baseball Professional Engagement Night will be held on January 4^th from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Jamison Elementary School in Jamison, Pa. The annual event will include over 47 baseball alumni professionals who will have the opportunity to mentor 40 student-athletes.

Softball – The softball team will be holding its Virtual Networking Night on January 26^th from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM via Zoom. The event will give alumni the opportunity to meet current players and members of the softball coaching staff, and in return, players will be given the chance to expand their network with former Husky softball players. The event will allow participants to meet in break-out rooms which will allow experts in different industries the opportunity to share advice with current players. Wrestling – The wrestling team will be having its Alumni Match on January 28^th when the team hosts Long Island University at the Nelson Field House. The Alumni Match, which will recognize former Bloomsburg wrestlers prior to the event at 4:00 PM, will be followed by a social gathering at The Wagon Shed at approximately 6:00 PM. The wrestling program will provide appetizers for attendees, but attendees will be responsible for drinks and individual meals. RSVPs are due by January 26^th.
