BOWIE, Md. – The Department of Athletics at Bowie State University celebrated the graduation of 21 student-athletes at Friday’s May commencement on campus at Bulldog Stadium.
The group of student-athletes was part of nearly 700 total graduates celebrating bachelor’s degrees, master’s degrees, and doctoral degrees.

The resilient 2022 graduating class navigated through unforeseen obstacles during the COVID pandemic, achieving success on and off the playing fields of competition. This our student-athletes appeared in NCAA Tournaments, won Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) titles and garnered a slew of athletics and academic awards during their careers in Bowie.
