LANDOVER, Md. – The Bulldog women’s indoor track and field team recorded a pair of runner-up finishes to cap off a prominent performance for Bowie State at the Cardinal Classic hosted by Catholic University at the PG Sports & Learning Complex in Landover, Md. Saturday afternoon.
Notable Highlights
· Agi Mboob ran a time of 7.99 in the 60m for second place individually.
· Destiny Ehirim tabbed second place finish in the 60m hurdles (9.71)
· Destiny Lewis ran a time of 2:31.58 for 11th overall.
· Catherine Enwereji posted a time of 2:34.02 also in the 800m race for 13th individually.
· In the long jump, Zahra Graham recorded a mark of 4.63m for 10th overall while in the high jump she tabbed seventh with a 1.42m mark.
· Shakila Campbell earned a mark of 10.27m in the triple jump for fifth overall.
· The Bulldogs relay team made up of Enwereji, Mboob, Lewis, and Aliyah Hopper ran a third-best time of 4:25.23 in the 4x400m relay.
· Jazmyn McGrit finished 10th in the shot put, throwing a mark of 10.03m.
