MEAC Launches In-House Studio in Conference Headquarters

“This is a momentous and historic achievement for the conference,” MEAC Commissioner Sonja Stills said. “This studio not only signifies the growth of the MEAC Digital Network and the hard work and dedication of everyone involved, but it also reflects the MEAC’s commitment to storytelling and to getting the word out about the tremendous things our member institutions are doing athletically, academically and in their respective communities.”

The studio will not only serve as the official broadcast location for the second season of MEAC Countdown to Kickoff, presented by Coca-Cola, but it will also serve as a base of operations from which the conference office will be able to produce new content under the MEAC Digital Network umbrella, including but not limited to video features, podcasts, and social media content.

Fans can get their first look at the new studio on MEAC Countdown to Kickoff, which will air on Saturday, Oct. 8 at 12 p.m. on ESPN+ in advance of the Norfolk State-Morgan State football game.
