Josh Wallace | 3-Point Play: Mastering Academics, Sports, and Entrepreneurship

I’m Josh Wallace, a senior Sports Management major from Detroit, Michigan, and a proud member of the Livingstone College men’s basketball team. Over the past four years as a student-athlete, I’ve worked to master my own “3-point play”: balancing academics, excelling in sports, and pursuing entrepreneurship.

Off the court, I am the founder of Seneca Visions Media, a digital marketing company, and I also own a photography business called OkayJwall. My passion for photography and videography began when I noticed my own videos and photos often lacked a creative touch. Recognizing my unique eye for storytelling, I decided to take the leap and start my own ventures.

Since launching Seneca Visions Media, I have produced two short films, including one released on Valentine’s Day, and a documentary spotlighting several North Carolina HBCUs—Livingstone College, Winston-Salem State University, Shaw University, North Carolina Central University, and North Carolina A&T State University. This documentary is currently available on our YouTube channel. Beyond these projects, we focus on marketing and creating ads for Black-owned businesses throughout North Carolina.
