The Baltimore Times hosted the second annual Best of Black Baltimore awards reception Saturday, March 22, 2025 at the Inner Harbor in Baltimore. With nearly 400 businesses nominated and almost 20,000 votes, this celebration for the 68 winners was stunning. Best of Black Baltimore is an annual contest in which The Baltimore Times readers have an opportunity to nominate and vote for their favorite Black-owned businesses. This year’s celebration took place against a backdrop of over 500 pieces of art created by local Black artists and was themed an “Artsperience.” The event welcomed area politicians, business owners and artists in an evening that celebrated Black artistry and entrepreneurship at its highest level.
