Sixty Minutes in Black America  IS A NEWS PLATFORM, whose goal is to have a vehicle which provides relevant, historical, and educational information for communities of color.

On Sunday, February 5th at 6 pm, EST on Sixty Minutes in Black America, we celebrate Black History Month. Not only do we remember the giants in black history such as Frederick Douglas, Madame C.J. Walker but other black giants such as Dianne Clatto, Dr. Roger Arliner Young and Emperor Haile Selassie, who were instrumental in moving the black agenda throughout the world of equality and opportunity.  What would these legends say about the progress black people have made? What words of encouragement would they offer our young people today? Is this the most critical time for us as a community of Black people to revisit our history? Share the dream with our young people?

Joining Mike Haynie is Dr. Joanne Martin, Founder and CEO of The National Great Blacks in Wax Museum.  Dr. Martin, one of the most powerful modern voices of the civil rights era as a documenter and creator of images of our black heroes and legends.
