Reeds Fund Announces Artists for Autism

The Reeds Fund announces that it will hold its 3rd Annual Artists for Autism based in Baltimore.

The Reeds Fund’s mission is to educate, advocate, and liberate families in Baltimore shaped by autism and sarcoidosis. To date, the fund has awarded over $3,000 in scholarships, donated over 300 hours of combined volunteer consultations to families with a family member who has autism, and the community events have attracted over 170 unique Baltimore city residents.

This event will take place at Eubie Blake National Jazz and Cultural Center on Saturday, April 29th, 2023 from 3:00 PM -5:30 PM.  This engaging and interactive event celebrates the arts of young Baltimore natives through spoken word, poetry, dancing, singing, and rapping. The purpose of this event is to shed light on autism through various art forms with a theme of “Young, Gifted, and Black with Autism”.

Artists for Autism will be hosted by Big Fred Comedy and will be sponsored by MESS in a Bottle, Antonia Tee. All proceeds will be used to support a scholarship which funds educational expenses for young adults on the autistic spectrum.
