Associated Black Charities (ABC) hosted a Teen Financial Summit on Saturday, April 14, serving Baltimore teens aged 12-16 and their parents.

This free training welcomed over 200 parents and children, as they learned financial skills and best practices in entrepreneurship, budgeting, investing, employment and more. The summit not only supported the teens with tools and education, but also provided training to the parents and guardians who accompanied them. ABC advocates for black families to break the molds of systemic racism and flourish. This training was a major step toward a multigenerational approach to financial literacy, shifting attitudes toward money. This shift will help cultivate financial freedom, strengthening black family structures for years to come.
