Hello everyone! Sending love and prayers to all my “Rambling Rose” fans. Let’s lift your spirits with some exciting upcoming events!

Isaac Parham will be performing live at City View Bar & Grill, 6700 Security Blvd, Gwynn Oak, Maryland. He will be giving a jazz tribute to the legend Mr. Roy Ayers. This event is hosted by the one and only, Carlos Hutchins on Thursday, April 17, from 6-10 p.m.

First, don’t miss the powerful gospel musical stage play, “The Homegoing Service for A Man Named Jesus,” written by Ursula Battle and directed by Dr. Gregory Branch. The play, featuring an outstanding cast including Rev. Dr. Carl Soloman, Leonard Stepney Jr., and Shirlethea “LeLe” Holmes, is filled with music from the Unified Voices of John Hopkins Choir, led by David White and organist Howard “Buddy” Larkins. The production also includes powerful performances by C.C. Brown, Tanya Brown-Lyesi, and Baltimore’s own mortician Carlton C. Douglass as “Joseph of Arimathea.” Expect an emotional and spiritually uplifting experience with inspiring music and dynamic acting that will move your soul. Honey Child! This play is no joke. I saw it last year, it almost made me get up out of my chair and run up and down the aisle and do the “James Brown.” My husband, Shorty, had to hold me down. Check this out! Very powerful and very well done! This is a must-see event! For tickets, call 443-531-4787 or 443-531-5839.
