Andy Ennis, my dearest friend, former musician, and one of America’s finest tenor saxophone players passed away on Saturday, August 31, 2024. He had been performing professionally since 1957 at the Royal Theatre, and was a member of the Ray Charles Band and the brother of the late Ethel Ennis. May he rest in peace. Condolences to the family. Funeral arrangements had not been made by press time.
