ITTA BENA, Miss. – The Mississippi Valley State University football program will be playing on a national stage more often than not as six of the Delta Devils’ 11 (54.5%) regular season matchups will take place on either ESPN+ or ESPN U.

Valley State will begin the campaign with a Thursday night opener on ESPN+ against the Tarleton Texans in the Lone Star State before heading to the Nashville suburb of Clarkesville, Tennessee for another ESPN+ showdown against FCS Playoff hopeful Austin Peay.
The home opener against the rival Statesmen from Delta State is the only thing keeping the Devils from three-peating on ESPN+ as a national TV audience awaits for the third time in its first three road trips when Valley drives down to Jackson for a tussle with the SWAC favorite Tigers.
ESPN+ will be the stream provider once again for yet another Magnolia State rumble when the Alcorn Braves invade the Devils Den on October 8 for the only televised contest of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
A change of date necessitates a bigger audience in the case of MVSU’s matchup with Alabama A&M, as it goes from a ho-hum 1 p.m. start on Saturday to a primetime tilt on ESPN U on Thursday night, November 3.
The final regular season televised event will return to ESPN+ when Dancy’s men “Call Baton Rouge” for a date with the Jaguars of Southern University on November 12 inside A.W. Mumford Stadium.
If Mississippi Valley can make it’s first-ever run to the SWAC Title Game, that will be aired on ESPN 2 for a 3 p.m. start at the division winner with the best conference record.
