NORFOLK, Va. | Football season is officially back in the Tidewater Area!
The Norfolk State University football team reports to camp on Tuesday, with the first practice set for Wednesday morning.

Norfolk State kicks off its practice slate at 9 a.m. on Wednesday morning. The Spartans will practice four consecutive days before their first off day, Sunday, Aug. 6.
The fall camp is closed to the public. Media members can attend the first 45 minutes of practice during each session. Additionally, NSU head coach Dawson Odums, assistant coaches, and selected players will be available for interviews on Tuesdays during fall camp at 11:30 a.m.
Norfolk State opens the 2023 season on Saturday, Sept. 2 in the annual Labor Day Classic against Virginia State at William “Dick” Price Stadium. The Spartans visit Hampton on Sept. 9 in the Battle of the Bay showcase, before visiting Temple and Towson (Sept. 16 and Sept. 23), respectively.
The Spartans conclude the opening month at home against North Carolina A&T State.
Tickets for the upcoming season are now on sale and can be purchased through the NSU Ticket Office at: NSUSpartansTickets.UniversityTickets.com or by visiting the ticket office Monday-Friday (9:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.)
