For Jamaal “Black Root” Collier, the power of one begins with voice. An author and multidisciplinary artist shaped by Baltimore’s cultural fabric, Black Root approaches art as both expression and responsibility. His work—spanning writing, music, and performance—is grounded in the belief that every voice carries weight.
