For PatriceLIVE, The Power of One is not a slogan—it’s a practice. A dynamic entertainer, singer-songwriter, and entrepreneur from the Washington, DC metropolitan area, PatriceLIVE delivers high-energy performances that blend R&B, pop, rock, and Go-Go into a sophisticated, genre-spanning sound. Her work lives at the intersection of artistry, leadership, and cultural impact—where purpose fuels performance and truth drives longevity.

Beyond the stage, PatriceLIVE is a marketing executive and a board member of both the Recording Academy (GRAMMYs) DC Chapter and the Maryland Black Chamber of Commerce. A mother of two teens and an MBA candidate at George Washington University, she balances creative ambition with community leadership and personal growth. As she prepares to release her third studio album in 2026, PatriceLIVE continues to define what it looks like to build a sustainable, values-aligned career in music—without shrinking or splitting oneself to do it.

The Power of One

To PatriceLIVE, The Power of One is the understanding that a single voice, decision, or act of courage can send ripples far beyond what’s visible in the moment. As an artist, it reminds her that she doesn’t have to carry everything or save everyone—she simply has to be obedient to her calling and show up in truth. As a community member and leader, it means modeling integrity, excellence, and care in how she creates and serves. One person choosing honesty, growth, or love, she believes, can quietly reset the tone of an entire space.

Art Rooted in Wholeness and Legacy

PatriceLIVE’s art centers wholeness. Her work affirms that Black women—and Black people broadly—can be soft and strong, spiritual and ambitious, joyful and honest about pain. Through lyrics, performance, and presence, she shifts narratives away from survival alone and toward legacy, wellness, faith, and self-worth. The futures she imagines are expansive and emotionally intelligent—rooted not in limitation, but in dignity.

The Black Futures Cypher Contribution

Her piece for the Black Futures Cypher was inspired by transition—that pivotal moment when permission gives way to self-trust. Drawn from lived experience marked by growth, loss, and clarity, the work reflects choosing alignment over comfort. PatriceLIVE hopes listeners feel seen and steadied, reminded that their intuition is valid and their voice matters. Becoming who you’re meant to be, she insists, isn’t selfish—it’s necessary.

Place, Range, and Creative Influence

Raised in Prince George’s County, PatriceLIVE credits the region with teaching her range—how to move confidently between worlds with grace. Baltimore’s artists, she says, feel like cousins. She deeply respects their authenticity, raw storytelling, and refusal to dilute truth. Together, the DMV and Baltimore form a shared Southern East Coast ecosystem that is often overlooked but undeniably influential. That collective boldness and resilience continue to shape how she shows up as an artist and leader.

One Action Toward Collective Change

PatriceLIVE’s call to action is clear and grounded: tell the truth—starting with yourself. Collective change begins when people stop performing and start living in alignment. Support Black artists publicly. Pay them fairly. Show up consistently. Listen more than you speak. And when you have access or influence, use it to open doors instead of guarding them. Small, honest actions—done consistently—build movements that last.
