Adrian Jordan, President of Wellpoint DC, has been honored with the 2025 Vincent C. Gray Health Equity Award by the District of Columbia Hospital Association (DCHA), recognizing his leadership in advancing equitable access to care for Washington, D.C. residents.
Named after former D.C. Mayor and current Councilmember Vincent C. Gray, the award is one of the highest distinctions in the District’s healthcare community. It celebrates leaders whose work has produced measurable results in eliminating barriers to care and improving health outcomes in underserved neighborhoods.
Under Jordan’s guidance, Wellpoint DC expanded key initiatives supporting maternal health, chronic disease management, language access, and housing insecurity. Through partnerships with hospitals, schools, and community organizations, Jordan has helped make healthcare more connected and more accessible for families across the District.
The award was presented during DCHA’s Vincent C. Gray Special Tribute Event on November 6, 2025.
