Baltimore’s cultural landscape continues to evolve, and one of the newest additions blending lifestyle, wellness, and community connection is the Yoga & Mimosas Experience at Bar V 2.0—a collaboration between event producer and entrepreneur Azikiwe “ZIK” Deveaux and yoga instructor Charmain Lewis.
Deveaux, the founder of Events4GoodPeople (E4GP) and a longtime cultural catalyst in the city, has built a reputation for reimagining how Baltimore gathers. Known for his Black Owned Restaurant Tour (BORT), partnerships with national brands like Belvedere and D’ussé, and curated culinary moments for the Baltimore MET Gala, ZIK continues to expand the city’s social and creative footprint through experiences that celebrate culture and community.
At Bar V 2.0—his newest venture and the evolution of the former Bar Vegan—he brings that same intentionality to the hospitality world. The premium cocktail lounge blends global vegan-friendly cuisine with a menu of “dirty drinks,” including favorites like D’usse Island, Don’t Lychee On Me, Cu-cumbersom, and the Negroni League. Inside, sleek marble-topped tables, plush green lounge seating, and a private dining room create an atmosphere that’s both refined and welcoming.

This fall’s Yoga & Mimosas Experience is a natural extension of that vision. Designed to nurture both wellness and community, the event pairs a guided yoga session with a social brunch twist—inviting guests to center themselves, then celebrate together in the stylish setting of Bar V 2.0.
For instructor Charmain Lewis, the partnership felt seamless.
“As a yoga instructor, I believe in nurturing both the body and the mind,” Lewis says. “My intention is always to provide a transformative experience that helps individuals rediscover their center, allowing them to move forward in their purpose. Partnering with Bar V 2.0 aligned perfectly with my philosophy of promoting holistic wellness, celebration, and community.”
In addition to its growing slate of community-centered events, Bar V 2.0 will host a Wine Tasting on Thursday, November 20th from 6–7 p.m. The tasting will feature a selection of varietals—including cabernet sauvignon, pinot noir, rosé, pinot grigio, and sauvignon blanc—offering guests an opportunity to explore the lounge’s expanding beverage program. The event reflects Bar V 2.0’s commitment to creating social experiences that pair culture, hospitality, and community engagement.

Together, ZIK and Lewis are introducing a fresh kind of gathering to Baltimore—one that blends mindfulness with culture, and wellness with social connection. It’s an experience that feels distinctly Baltimore: rooted in community, shaped by creativity, and grounded in the belief that people deserve spaces that make them feel good—inside and out.
